Design
Responsibly we create products in small editions with a purpose. Did you know that over 80% of a products environmental impact is decided during its design process? We want to reduce the negative impacts on our environments and the people by rethinking the whole design process, including materials, production, packaging and transportation as well as the use and end-of-life of a product with sustainability at the forefront. Materials
With the strong belief that materials matter for a sustainable future, we stay away from synthetic fabrics and choose to use only natural sourced materials with a focus on hemp.
Certifications
We understand the importance of certifications, because they ensure appropriate standards relating to sustainable and social responsibility. That is why we aspire to use materials and suppliers that are certified.
Suppliers and Manufacturing
We create and develope long term partnerships with suppliers and manufacturers that understand and share a common vision. Our clothes are designed and manufactured in Hamburg and Barcelos.
Circularity
The biodegradability of materials plays a significant role in our overall design effort. In addition, longevity is always in mind and we aspire to create products which make you happy for a long time.
The whole package matters.
Compostable bags Our mailers are 100% biodegradable. When they are exposed to light, heat and moisture, they will decompose in approx. 3 to 6 months. But before that, we highly encourage you to reuse the bags.
No extra waste We do not send any extra branded materials along with your order to help eliminate single-use waste.
Green Shipping We use the courier service DHL GoGreen to reduce our carbon footprint and to support climate protection programs for the balance of emissions.
Consumer Use
After the purchase the environmental impact does not end. Educating consumers will help us lessen this impact wherever possible. The way the clothing is used and treated affects significantly their lifespan. There is huge potential to reduce the impact by simply changing your laundry habits for the better. More information in general here.
Besides we encourage you to repair and reuse things, give them to a friend, donate them to charity or have a good time at a flea market. Let us keep them circulating for as long as we can. We can not change the world, but we can change the way we live. Big changes start with small steps and we all have the power to make a difference.
