What are the shipping costs and times?

Shipping costs and times will vary depending on the type of shipment and location.

The costs will automatically be calculated during checkout, as they vary on your location and size of the parcel. We use insured shipping.

All orders are shipped from Hamburg by trackable courier within approximately 3 to 7 business days after payment confirmation.

The delivery periods are calculated from payment confirmation. Orders are prepared and dispatched on working days from Monday to Friday. Please note that we do not ship on weekends or public holidays in Germany.

Europe 3 – 7 days 
International 7 – 15 days 

Important! Due to the Corona Virus Spread, international shipping may be delayed, depending on regulations in your country. 

Can I track my order?

Yes, with international courier trackable service. Once your package is shipped we will send you an e-mail with notification with tracking information. If you do not receive a shipping confirmation within 5 business days, please contact us at hello@paradise-security.com.

Payment

What are your payment options?

You can pay with Stripe via credit card or PayPal. Please be aware that they direct you to further security checks in order to complete your transaction. The terms and conditions and data protection information of the respective payment providers apply.

 

How do I return my order?

We want you to be completely in love with your purchase. If you change your mind for any reason, we will accept an exchange or refund. Before returning please ensure that you have read and understood our Return Policy, if any products are returned that do not meet our policy the customer will be notified and payment will not be refunded.

You may exchange or return any products purchased on www.paradise-security.com within 14 days from the date of your order. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can not offer you a refund or exchange. The original shipping cost is non-refundable.

Customers are responsible for any return costs. If you are shipping a return over 75 euro, you should consider a trackable shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned products.

How long will it take for me to receive my refund?

The refund will be made via the same payment method used for your initial purchase. It can take up to 30 days to receive and complete your return. Once the return is completed, the refund can take up to 14 days to be processed. Please note that due to the current world pandemic, this process could take a little longer. How can I cancel my order?

Cancellations are not possible at this moment, when the order has been placed.



Can I amend any part of my order?

We are sorry, we cannot amend any part of your order or upgrade Standard Delivery to Express once submitted. However, if you wish to amend your shipping address, you can request this from your courier directly once your item is shipped.

Why is your brand doing something good?

Paradise Security was born through the passion of doing something good, because the most important issue of our time is to establish a balanced interaction between humans and the environment. What we do in the coming decades will have profound effects and thus, will determine the future for life on earth. We ask ourselves: How much change can we create in a modern globalised world?

We want to create high quality products with a purpose and a design attitude that we can be proud of. Committed to inspire and empower change, we use our products as a vehicle to spread awareness for important causes and address the issues that we face today in a creative way.

 

Where are the products made?

Our clothes are designed and manufactured in Hamburg and Barcelos.

We create and develope long term partnerships with suppliers and manufacturers that understand and share a common vision. Currently we have to to import the fabrics, but it is still better than using conventional cotton or synthetic fabrics as the fuel used for transport has less impact than all the chemicals that were saved would have had. In addition to this it stimulates eco-businesses, creates awareness and helps to build the demand for local hemp production which is the ultimate goal. In particular because hemp requires much less water, no chemicals and pesticides as well as it provides a greater amount of fibres than cotton. We believe, that hemp is one of the materials of the future and our clothing would not exist if it was not for the passion and dedication from our suppliers who are thinking the same way.

We are proud of the cooperations with our suppliers, who are taking environmental and social responsibility very serious. For example, they have implemented clean solar powered energy across all of their offices and factories, using only EU approved dyes and chemicals in their dyeing and finishing as well as they carefully monitoring and controlling waste water. Furthermore, they strive to obtain certifications for their products and working conditions. They were one of the first members of the Fair Wear Foundation. Also they established a foundation, which aims to help those who have been affected with physical disabilities be able to afford their medical bills and everyday lives.

 

What materials are used?

With the strong belief that materials matter for a sustainable future, we stay away from synthetic fabrics and choose to use only natural sourced materials with a focus on hemp, organic cotton and Merino wool.

 

How is your brand more sustainable?

As part of the clothing industry we understand that our choices have an environmental and social impact. We want to reduce the negative impacts on our environments and the people by rethinking the whole design process, including materials, production, packaging and transportation as well as the use and end-of-life of a product with sustainability at the forefront. 

The idea of a circular economy is no longer some obscure future thought, but has already become reality. The biodegradability of materials plays a significant role in our overall design effort to improve the current situation of the clothing industry. In addition, longevity is always in mind and we aspire to manufacture clothing which make you happy for a long time.

We understand the importance of certifications, because they ensure appropriate standards relating to sustainable and social responsibility. That is why we aspire to use materials and suppliers that are certified.

In order to not overproduce the collections are kept rather small to only manufacture as much as desired. Also we aim to create products with the Zero Waste Design Thinking. During the pattern construction for our clothes we try to eliminate as much waste as possible by utilising every part of the fabric and transforming left overs into something different and new rather than throwing it away. This includes our introduction of scrunchies to our accessories range.

Our mailers are 100% biodegradable. When they are exposed to light, heat and moisture, they will decompose in approx. 3 to 6 months. We do not send any extra branded materials along with your order to help eliminate single-use waste. For national and international shipping we use the courier service DHL GoGreen to reduce our carbon footprint and to support climate protection programs for the balance of emissions.

 

How does your brand try to make a difference?

For every product purchased, we will donate 1% of our sales to a non-profit organization that aims to give back to the environment, fight global climate change, protect biodiversity or support reforestation projects.

We see transparency as a tool for positive change. Every impact can be decreased by more informed decisions. It is a long journey with vast amounts of research, but we want to know and disclose our environmental and social impact from the start of the supply chain to our products getting delivered to our customers. We want you to come to your own conclusions about quality, fairness and values.
